hahahaha…punyalah bosan hari ni… this is my 3rd entry for today… i want to save this story for tomorrow or other sometime when i free but tak tahan nak tulih gak.. a bit gloomy today with cloud and rain…huhuhu..i need sunshine in SUMMER, so i can busy do my laundry
Last weekend, since we stop selling nasi lemak, we have plenty of time to waste together. on Saturday we just lepak-ing at home and bought groceries.
on Sunday, we decided to go to Bristol Zoo Gardens. i woke up a bit early to prepare tauhu sumbat that adi ngidam for our munchy2 at Bristol Zoo Gardens. But when Adi was ready and saw the tauhu sumbat, he cant wait to eat them!!so we had tauhu sumbat wif kuah kacang as our breakfast. the rest tauhu,i tapau to bring to cardiff afterwards.
the weather that day was not promising us to have a good time at zoo. it have been raining for all morning. but miraculously when we arrived at Bristol Zoo, the weather became so good with sunshine yappari British weather. The last time i went to zoo was 6-5 yrs ago if i not mistaken. we went to Zoo Negara that time (apa ntah jadik kat Zoo Negara sekarang)
Bristol Zoo Gardens is the oldest provincial zoo in the world. In our mind this zoo must be a small area but we were wrong. It is big enough to make me termengah-mengah!! It called Zoo Gardens because it also have a nice english garden that u can picnic and enjoy the flowers. Because this zoo is a city zoo and an old zoo, it has limited spaces, so it dont have any big animals like elephant, giraffe, tiger etc ( but there is a new project called National Wildlife Conservation Park at Cribbs Causeway, it will be like safari.. yeay!!). Although it dont have big animals but i still enjoyed our visit. Among animals we can see are asiatic lions, pygmy hippo, red panda, penguins, seals,gorillas,rare frogs,giant tortoise,aquarium area and bugs area.
It really worth to go especially with kids. I was so jealous looking at those red cheek blonde hair babies.. nak cubit2.. maybe when we have our own baby, we can be annual members. 60pound/yr/2persons, for me it is reasonable price. bosan-bosan hujung minggu leh g zoo..
When we nearly finished our tour around 5pm suddenly, strong wind and dark cloud came and rain fall heavily. Nasib baik, dah habis tawaf dah so tak rasa ralat pun hujan. We’ve been at zoo for around 4-5hours!!! gosh!! patutlah cam nak patah kaki dah.. we solat zohor at Adi’s office then drove to Cardiff for our dinner date with Abbas. When we arrived at this eligible bachelor’s house, there were 4 other people watching Wimbledon final. Nasib baik bawak 8 ketul tauhu sumbat, plus me & adi still have extra 1 piece. Minum petang , tauhu sumbat dan teh abbas buat sambil menunggu sapalah nak menang Wimbledon 2008; Nadal or Federer. Tunggu punya tunggu tapi tak habis2 lagi. Kul 9, tanpa tunggu keputusan tenis kami keluar dinner at Tenkaichi. Me and Adi had ‘Spidermaki’; crab sushi and Unagi Gohan or usually called Unagi Don in Japan. I’m craving for nice unagi because it is summer time!! In Japan, summer=unagi. And it worth driving 90miles (returns) because it was very nice Japanese food i ever had in UK.
